JRAD killed it! I left wishing they would have let off the gas once or twice. They went all out from start to finish.

I’ve watched or listened to a reasonable amount of their stuff but never a whole show. These fellas are good!! They are not attempting to be the Dead. Just using the music as a launching point.

Boulder 2 was excellent. This tour was great.

Bummed I won’t be catching them for another year. Lockin and Mexico seem to be the only items on the menu for a while. JM should just quit his solo career.

I was kinda hoping they would pull off a Cowboy tune, or maybe a Jack-a-roe/Peggy-o/BEW type thing to see what they could do with those tempos.
    But I was satisfied nonetheless.

    Dead and Company.

Think I have tickets for Boston, not sure about this one. Reminds me of the old Weir Wasserman gig that I always thought needed another guitar player. Oh well, Bobby ain’t getting any younger

I may have to go see the Bobby and Wolf Brothers at the Capitol Thtr. Phil is doing another show in Central Park on 9/5 at Summerstage with Nicki Bluhm and Eric Krasno. That's the best place around to "see" a free show, nylon fences don't do much for stopping sound in a park If anyone is around come spend my 52nd birthday hangin' with me in the park.

That's kinda what I am thinking. Might as well drink it up before he retires.

LOCKN' looked like a good time. Lettuce was crazy and Holly's band was stellar also. D&C was solid, John and Jeff seemed to really play well off each other. The BEW from night one was great.

I have the D&C soundboards if anyone wants them.

Listened to Lettuce on XM and they blew me away- had no idea they could bring it like that - and it really went to another level when JM joined. Would love to grab those DeadCo soundboards - PM a link or drop it here?

I'm not sure where to stick this, but it's why I would go see Phil & Co vs. Dead & Co any day of the week.

Listened to that yesterday, I favor the Phil squads as well. Nicki is awesome, not sold on Krasno but everyone seems to love playing with him. Maybe it's the hat...
