I had an amazing time. Camped out and got two nights. It almost felt like a dead show in the parking lot (standard camping).

I think Meyer is almost too good. He needs to relax and fuck up a little. He played his ass off, really good.

Talked to friends at Deer Cr. Said it was decent playing. 7/10 for DeadCo. Fun times. Still a great venue from the resorts.
Despite not liking stadiums, I’m pretty excited to invade Wrigley tomorrow.

    Dead and Company.

7/10 for Dead Co is like 1/10 for Dead.

It’s not Bob that’s the problem. It’s Mayer and Burbridge.

So maybe it was just me but I don’t think so. Pretty sure someone slipped some dummy dust in Weir’s preshow wheatgrass smoothie. Those guys picked up the pace in a real way tonight.

Boy that looks and sounds like it was a great show. I've listened to about half now and it really hits the mark, fkn Terrapin opener...

Citi Field on Sunday fer me

And yeah, stadium shows can be pretty blah but I'm finally getting a chance to take my kids to a Dead show and it's their first big stadium show of any sort so I'll be looking at it through fresh eyes. They've seen Minor League stadium shows but that's a fraction of the size so it's different.

^^no doubt, I was surprised just reading the setlist.

I've got some friends going to SPAC who should get a real world review from.

Wrigley was great both nights, neither were all time shows for these guys but everyone sure had fun and the atmosphere was incredible. Got a little windy/cold/rainy towards the end of night one but everyone powered through.

Terrapin opener Saturday night really set the tone for the rest of that show. Spanish Jam into Scarlet (no scarlet>fire yet this tour) was a heater as well.

    Good to be back!

Just found this thread. I was at the Gorge. It was fucking rad. Drugs are fun. I have no idea how anyone survived standard camping. #Premier4life.

People who shitpost about Dead and Company should shut the fuck up, nobody cares.

Yeah, JRAD is cool too, saw them the Sunday before the Gorge.

I would 100% be coming to Boulder but we have a family trip that was scheduled before the tour. -

The drugs are what made it good? Because, deadco is not good, they just aren’t very good at all. No re-listen value, whatsoever.
And while I’m at it, JRAD sucks also. Come on now. DSO is the best thing going and they absolutely rock.

As I said above, shut the fuck up. Go start a DSO thread, which no one will read. Especially using DSO to call out the "re-listen value" when they are aping old shows?

I never claimed that DSO had re-listen value, but at least they honor the legacy, and they bring it every night. DeadCo feels like a cash grab, that does nothing to further the legacy of greatness.
By all means enjoy, I’ll see myself out.
