Phil just burned the Cap to the ground. He is kicking that cancer in the ballsack. Cancer? Take a Lap beater.

stanley jordan huh. Phil just has it going on so much. I've probably said it here before, but a buddy commented that seeing Furthur was like taking a sunday drive and Phil's bands are like driving in the indy 500.

we were joking that weekend, 'i'll see your John Mayer and raise you a Stanley Jordan'
It's all good, the heads that stopped going because Jerry died are just depriving themselves of hearing the music we love performed live by great musicians.

Clean living! He is apparently a total health nut. Was telling MMP earlier that what I have listened to of these recent show with Stanley are just incredible. Phil's voice is a little rough, understandably, and you can tell the rehearsal time is limited but the improv jams are silly good.

Dead and Company.
And he does it with a different pick up team all the time. Check out the shows from last weekend, old school.
Would love to go to terrapin crossroads for a home standLast edited by ticketchecker; 11-12-2015 at 06:53 PM.

Go!
It's fun. Saw Phil with Graham and Jeff Chimenti and crew a few months back. Phil is killing it.
Listened to 11/6-7 shows today. That lineup rips.I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

DSO ripped it up at the wellmont last night with the 3/10/81 msg show, monster setlist, from the rapid opening licks of half step you knew it was a high speed Coke show! Seems like this garden theme is really working for me right now. Tarrytown later this month.
Dance party baby!

Thoroughly enjoyed the dance party in Atlanta last night. Head hurts today! Hand't been to anything but a DSO show since The Dead in 2007 or so. Tons of fun! St. Stephen, Uncle John's, Franklins, lots of boxes checked. Good Times!

Nice to hear. Seems like this group has things moving in the right direction. From what I've seen and heard from my couch and over my stereo, I'm not wildly into Mayer but the whole pkg seems good. John M certainly did his homework though! While his solos haven't intrigued me his lead while not soloing has been really fun. Oteil is the real deal.
Tempted to find a show if they continue.

I hear you on Mayer but in listening to his first show in Albany and then a couple following shows and then seeing him Saturday night, he seems to be growing by leaps and bounds >> his stuff on Scarlet at the Mpls show was choice (http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=583545. And Oteil is most definitely the real deal.

The technology never ceases to amaze me, or more likely I'm just old. Seemed in college, you'd go to a show, and MAYBE 3 months later and god knows how many generations off the original you could get maybe a set of the show you went too. TDK or maxwell.
Now you have video the next day. We heard rumors of poeople having snipits of super 8 or this amazing new technology DVD..."Can't you see..."
