You’re right, everyone sounds great but it’s just okay.

I think DeadCo is a live thing for me. I’ll listen to some here and there when I hear they have a hot night. But I rarely get into it. I’m usually good for 2-3 songs and I move on.
I enjoy the hell out of the music when I’m at a show tho.

Tuned in for set 2. Soulful Deal but slow. Dark star was as stretched as these guys seem to get it! Funny that the Wolf Bros seem to get Weir’s cowboy tunes rockin a little but DeadCo can’t quite get him to push the tempo there.
I’m sure it’s a hoot being there.

Did last Friday’s Dead & Co show end yet? Last I heard they were on the fifth song and making progress.

Listened to some of the stream last night and I gotta say, it sounded pretty good. Not sure it was good enough to get me to Fenway for one more crack at 'em

On another note, I miss Bill Kreutzmann's mustache.

I watched the stream and was really impressed. my .02 but that was a damn good show and not just for dead and co. Never heard those guys play like that. Weir didn’t get his slow motion style show that night. Wonder if the summer tour will be more upbeat than usual.
I was thinking about bailing on my plans for the SF shows until i saw that. Will be evaluating over the first couple weeks of the tour now.

Listening to the real Cornell show right now - glad they didn’t try to do that one.

There have been some killer dead and company shows on the dead channel on Sirius in the last week or so. All the shows have been from the last couple weeks. The 5.23.23 show was pretty good.

Just talked to someone who paid $280 for turf seats at Fenway, about pitchers mound depth. If they were doing Hartford I’d grab a lawn for sure, but they’re not
