It's a more Jazzy take on the music. The ticket was 35 bucks and I enjoy live music.

It's not like Im going to drive or fly and see them. TFB and Lesh were better.

    Rather see JRAD than Mayer.

Just got back from playing in the sand, all around great time.

Night one was incredible, night two got a lil spacy for me as I took some seriously strong blotter, final night set 1 was slow but set 2 was incredible. Bobby has it in spades, I got pretty emotional listening to him play the acoustic looks like rain.

Here's an old Phil show that's worth a listen, he may not have the best voice but he's always had nice friends.

Maybe, maybe not. There's a lot of vocal people on both sides of the issue. If it wasn't peak tourist (and fire) season they would have had a much better shot at success.

On the bright side, rumors are rumbling that JRAD will be closing out Friday at TargheeFest this summer...

    Dead and Company.

It’s gonna be a tough sell. Tye is right. Don’t get me wrong...I will be fired up to see em down the street but how the hell are they going to pass off traffic control? This place is a fucking zoo late afternoon - evening at that time of year. I assume the Gill family will propose a temporary road across the ranch but there really isn’t any road around that can handle even the traffic we have then.

    Hope it goes down!

I get it, small world and lots of RV's running around. I lived there in the early 90's, can't imagine what the traffic is like now.

But maybe we're one step closer?

    Dead and Company.

In the middle of 2/26 at the office. First set has been off and on but fun to watch.

    Edit: into set 2
Have just not heard/watched all the DeadCo stuff or did they just let Chimenti sing for the first time? Only a verse of the Weight but his voice is fitting.

I usually go in with three other guys for couch tour. Bought the stream through livedead.co -nugs.net

They give you a couple days to watch. Pretty reasonable when you split the cost with others. There are ways of pirating the stream but that shit is way out of my league.

    Dead and Company.

Weir and Lesh kick off tonight.

Edit: Teton County Commission is deciding on whether or not to allow the DeadCo shows in August right now.

periscope rocks. watched a bunch of the phish shows at msg when some kind soul put the feed up. much better than trying to tune in from someone at the actual show and invariably there's some knucklehead within range that won't shut the fuck up and it bleeds in.
Congrats to Jackson bringing the freaks to town. Shows are so fun but the surrounding shit show can really unhinge the locals that don't get it.

Agree. Although with 8-10 DeadCo shows under my belt I can attest that the traveling circus scene is not the same as the old days. There will be some problems with wealthy landowners bitching but I’m going to guess the problems that arise will be from Heads parking in the wrong places, camping where the county doesn’t want them to etc.. I think most people around here get it to some extent. Anyway, it will be fun if the band is cool with the restrictions laid on them and signs the contract. Nothing like this has gone down here before. It outta be fun.
