surprised no one mentioned John Mayer is touring with Dead and Co. this year.
seemed like a big deal to the rest of my deadhead friends

I babysat for a wee baby so parents could go to a NYE show when I was 17. Luckily for me KFOG had a live FM simulcast. A couple of my friends came over and I danced with the baby in my arms much of the night.

NYE shows were a highlight of my deadhead life. 87-88, 88-89, & 89-90.

Looks like I have a pair of pits for Saturday at Fenway available. Would love to trade for some decent SPAC tickets. But will sell for face plus the fees, think that makes em around 150 each

Listening to Shoreline from last night, might be the worst here comes sunshine ever. Grateful Dean says they're two drum sticks short of being 100x better than they are. Still psyched to get back in the fray

The China Doll from shoreline is incredible. I had no idea that Oteil could sing like that. He delivered the emotion that song demands. And JM crushed the solos. This band continues to improve. Cool to watch the progression.

Watched a little bit of video footage so far. That China Doll was fantastic. Nothing else really got me though. Last summer surprised me. Blown away. Maybe its just the samples I have watched but they don't seem quite as on as they did.

Still excited to see SLC and Boulder.

Any tips for parking and/or tailgating/pre-gaming at USANA? This'll be my first show there and it sounds like the lot is a serious buzzkill.

I have sat in the lot and crushed beers but I cant imagine it'll have the same vibe that the show at CU boulder did last year. If you look at the road around the outside of it there is a little spur road to a gate that people park that is probably more hospitible to the pregame. Looking forward to seeing some mags at the show

Should be rolling into the lot at 5. Schwerty, did you end up with Danno's spot for Boulder?
