I think the only difference would be the cargo area since the a/s6 is the same for the front and rear seats. Tuxmats has them. May have to get creative for the cargo area

I got the Audi A6 Allroad winter mats all around (and cargo) and they’re way better than they used to be. Higher sidewalls and of course they fit well with the snappy little logo too.

I’ll probably never take the summer mats out of the bag given kids/dogs.

That said, weird about the Weathertechs. Maybe there’s no change and they fit just the same? Those are always going to be the best mats out there.

And you can even get Audi stickers to replace the Weathertech ones.

Wait until you get an OBD 11. The quantity of customizable shit is amazing.

500 credits came with the unit. I could do everything twice and still have leftovers.

Without credits you can still manually code anything. Needless to say, there a pretty large community to walk you through it.

It can also read and update all the VW specific control units.

So yes, you're right. It's pretty useless.

Hahaha. Maybe you're right. Felt pretty hefty to me since I was tryna deal with unloading it myself, but maybe I'm just out of shape. LMAO.

Either way, the cargo volume in this ride is unmatched. And like 1/2 the price of an F-150 these days! Lesser SUVs tremble in the midst of my wagon's presence. It was fun loading it though. I got all sorts of perplexed looks from bystanders as they watched my car swallow that unit like it was DD's mom at an all-you-can-eat buffet at the Golden Corral. Good times.

You're just old and weak... Meanwhile, when we got a small upright freezer from BJ'S I had to take it out of the box and remove the rubber feet to get it into the Range Rover.

    Wagon Stoke

For all you mags with Weather Tech boners; we just put these in the new BMW X3 and they’re so nice. Perfectly fitted 3D shape and they’ve got some hook&loop backing that keeps them from moving around. Big step up in refined style from the rubber mat idea.

I have those in my C30. They ARE really good mats and very high quality. HOWEVER, the problem with the velcro bottom design is they don't lend themselves as well for quick water dumping from melted snow. With the deep sides, the weathertech's hold WAY more water and they're easier to empty out. This can be a real issue in winter.

I'd consider the 3D's to be higher quality, but the Weathertechs to be more practical for winter duty. ESPECIALLY come the Spring thaw when the snow is thicc and the mud becomes an issue too. But yeah, the 3Ds are nice for sure. I like mine. They just have their practical limitations is all.

The E400 I been internet stalking just dropped another $1K. I just messaged the dealer and said I would be there Monday to test drive it. Life prevents me from going tomorrow or over the weekend. I'm going to deplete my 401(k) to pay for it since the damn estate lawyers can't seem to understand the angst they are causing me...

Love hearing that the VW wagons are selling high still. I planned to sell it outright but I'm going to see what they will offer me as a trade-in.

You can buy a factory dip stick for most cars that don’t come equipped.

Weathertech mats can hold an entire large Iced Tea with extra lemons from Chick Fil A without letting a drop hit a piece of trim, carpet or upholstery.

    Lol.

I put Weathertechs in our XC60 and they fit so snugly that I dump half of whatever is in them on the floor taking them out.

Just curious...does your E350 have leather or MB-tex seats? I know the 212 series had some issues with the MB-tex ripping at that single seam on the driver's seat bottom. The 213 series have a different pattern with the seams running front to back and they have 3 seams instead of just one on the 212 MB-tex seats. Not sure if that was in response to the ripping issue....

The E400 I'm looking at has leather. Dealers are pretty unscrupulous when describing the seats; many say leather when they are actually MB-tex. The 212 series leather seats have the seams running front to back while the MB-tex have the single seam running side to side (bottom cushion). Another way to tell is by using a VIN decoder...the build sheet will tell you right up front if it's leather or MB-tex. I've been using this one:

Mine has the MB-Tex. It actually DID formerly have the ripped seam but the previous owner had the seat cover replaced and it looks like brand new and matches perfectly with the rest. One thing I learned through my research is that getting the seat cover replaced is actually pretty cheap and not that big of a deal. It's also easy enough that you can DIY it if you want. As much as I wanted leather, I found them exceedingly rare so just gave up on making that a requirement. In the end, I'm actually pretty happy with the material. Especially with kids. Smudges and grime wipes off with ease and the entire interior still looks like brand new, so it obviously holds up really well in the long run, ripped seams aside. The main thing I miss is that good old fashioned leather smell, so maybe some conditioners will help me on that front. Still, given the option, I'd go with leather if I could. Especially those pimp "Designo" seats in the newer ones. Those are REALLY nice. They're what I will have my sights set on for our next wagon.

SERIOUSLY!!! That was super annoying when doing my search. You can ask dealers if it's really leather, and they'll be like "Oh yah! Totally!" Only ones who seemed to know were proper MB dealerships.

    Aaaand....the car sold today.

    Life sucks sometimes.

There's another one that's actually closer to me and has fewer miles than my Golf Wagon but it's $4,500 more than the one I wanted and it's white...the one I wanted was Selenite Grey Metallic.

I guess the car gods really wanted me to wait until that inheritance finally comes through.

Did you kill anyone for the inheritance? 'Cause God keeps a ledger you know.
