I could do without the two-foot MB emblem but otherwise beautiful car. E wagons are consistent lookers in general.

Out with the old....
In with the new... (i suck at camera)
2000 e320 4matic wagon. 160k on the ticker. Bose soundsystem. Stock rear suspension and billsteins in front. Body is straight and paint/interior is good. If was ever going to restore one this would be it. I drove across the wilds of Wyoming, survived suicidal jackrabbits and 50mph crosswinds as well as nearly got divorced for this whip. Alternator shit the bed in park city on the way back nd I coasted down parleys with the lights out and and made it home. Checked battery 10.2v. Grabbed the alternator off the 99 and gtg. Made a benz enthusiast friend who has very fishy property riverside on the new fork in pinedale.
Not bad for 1500 on KSL.com classifieds....
4matic what parts you need buddy? Mag deal on anything I dont pull for myself.Bunny Don't Surf
Have you seen a one armed man around here?

I have 25 year mechanic who is not cheap but I trust. I troubleshoot repair information but that's about it. My current wagon is W211 E500. I've never owned a W210 but I know those are excellent cars with some of the old W124 interior trim. Very classy as I've owned a bunch of W124. Only picture I have handy of the W211:
I have to say the 300hp normally aspirated V8 in this E500 is a joy to drive and the sound is awesome.
Edit: I'll delete sideways photo soon.

I’d suggest skip AMG. Too stiff! The 2007-2009 W211 E550 sedan is a classic imo. Time tested Mercedes normally aspirated V8 with 382 hp. You can only get the V8 wagon through 2005 with 300 hp. They are starting to hold value! lol.
For you, the W211 with airmatic suspension will be a bargain because you can do the shock repair.

I have had a couple mercedes including a 300 wagon and all held up very well for year and mileage. My mechanic at the time said to stay away from the 4matic (maybe he knew the price range I was shopping in at the time) How do you find it holds up?

The W124 4matic was troublesome. I owned a couple.
Since the W210 the 4matic is ubiquitous and an easy fix if it does break.
The 5 speed automatic in the W211 is flawless. It’s same transmission used to drive the V12.

It's parked, and then we drive it to go skiing or fishing or to Eastern WA, or whatever. Mrs. Plug takes the bus, for work, and I used it mostly as a sales rep car out of Winthrop, WA. So drive 3 hours, make sales calls for 3-4 days in Willamette, Tr-Cities, Prosser, Walla Walla, etc., then drive home. Only 1 (recent), brake job, "It's only highway miles." So now it's parked in Issaquah, WA.
We're selling it because we are getting a new car, as we like to have 1 car as our primary vehicle, and so we don't want that to be a car with that many miles. We just don't need it. Service person at BMW says these will go forever, just put in the 2-3K/year in parts upgrade/maintenance, and I actually agree.Well maybe I'm the faggot America
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda

Yeah its cool and all but how much more cargo are you getting with that slanted rear "hatch?" The standard Panamara has decent trunk space already.
