I know you are talking about Allroads but this made me curious how much to change the turbo on my Alltrack and I come up with about $600 labor and maybe $1200 or so for the Turbo brand new - at least the IS20 is about 1200, could not find the price for the smaler IS12 with quick google search but I think I can assume it would be the same or less. Used IS12's that people take off with low miles to tune their cars to the bigger turbos seem to be $200 or so. Regardless probably a job I would try to do myself to save the $600 labor. I think the downpipe and everything else has to come out the bottom and that requires a lift to get it twisted out of there...maybe the biggest hassle.
I don't have a piece of shit CVT at least.
Anyway, still have a few years or 60k miles left on the factory warrranty and paid less for the wagon that a lot of people pay for a Chevy Cruze.

Does anyone here on TGR have the Buick Tourx? Curious what real-world usage experience is like, from someone who would use it like I would: how is the AWD in snow, what's it like on mountain passes (whether it has sufficient power, does the transmission hunt constantly with a load of skiers + gear), what's MPG like with a ski box or bikes on the roof (or on a hitch) -- stuff like that, which no car review site will ever have.

Beautiful car, lust-worthy no doubt, but... $129,000 asking price. WHAT?!? I guess he's chasing this as a target - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-bmw-m5-2/ , but it's likely more of a $60-80k car - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-bmw-m5-touring/

Great car. Not so much for Utah though. My friend just sold his clean 1995 M5 with 80,000 original miles on it for less than $35,000.

Why is it not a great car for utah? Cause it is not AWD? I have a 95 540i and I drive it all over the place. Do I take it up the canyon when it's dumping on a powder day? No, Land Cruiser for that. But for everything else it kicks ass. Great for taking to the trailhead to ride, great for knocking an hour off the trip to ketchum. Great for driving to work in anything less than 6-8 inches. Hell, when I was selling my house in Summit park last winter, I drove it up there in the snow. Everybody thinking they need AWD all the time is stupid. some of the time, yes. but 95% of the time, no need.
Everyone should have:
1 SUV with real 4wd, and high ground clearance.
1 sedan or wagon preferably RWD for enhanced driving dynamics
1 sports car
1 convertiblesigless.

I was going to get one and deal with the chains, but the irreparable gouging cylinder walls is too much. No one wants the 4.2, definately not at $10+.

Was watching the news this morning and they were focused on the Royal family's connections to that Epstein creep and they showed a clip of the Royals heading to church yesterday and this caught my eye.
Nice to know Prince Charles and I daily the same car.
