New belts and pulleys for this turd. Forgot to get the AC tensioner idler pulley, on its way now. A few more things needed to make it a good commuter, but it's coming along.

I keep seeing RS6's around here. I had to look at this one in front of me yesterday that was an old skool lacquer electric blue, none of this modern metallic stuff and it had simple, clean wheels and a really understated exhaust rumble. It was just terrible... There's a black one with a raucous exhaust that's kind of annoying, a grey one that I can't tell any details because it's always rolling about Mach 6 and a hideous gold one with gold tint windows that I want to puke on.

    Unreal at 184k!

The S6 Buster linked should go well. Dudes got it dolled up and has the stance photos on point. Still plenty of funny money flowing for some bros to overbid that!

Saab sat for the most part for covid. Fucking thing still trucks and I love driving her. Got the Saab coolant leak into the passenger floor. Gave it a tighten, let hope I don't have to pull half the dash out to replace the o ring. Wonder if a good coat of jb weld would do the trick? Considering it.

That heater core is actually pretty easy. I replaced one a few years ago on my 08 and I think the whole thing took maybe an hour. If I remember right I pinched off both supply/return hoses in the engine bay, removed glove box and went at it. I think it was only the o rings leaking but I had already ordered the heater core so I swapped it out. Just make sure you have one solid piece of plastic on the floor/side walls with something to absorb the look at that might leak when you pull it.

much thanks. I have disassembled to tighten so it all does look pretty straightforward. Its for sure not the core as heat is hot and AC cold....gotta be the ring man...

I spotted some 911 MTB bros here yesterday. I can only assume there’s a Raptor or TRD Pro of some kind in their ownership as well

there’s a local ski patroller here named Reed Finley and he drives a wagon either just like that or very similar/similar vintage. it always cracks me up when I see him driving it.
I think he said it was his grandma’s originally, which makes sense.

    Considering picking up a 2010 Audi A4 2.0T Avant Quattro. 102k miles, but a nice price ($8k)

Pretty high mileage, but just had its 100k service done (valves, plugs, belts, and all fluids).

Looking for something as a daily driver. I currently daily my 04 tundra, but it has around 214k miles on it. I have a camper on the back and want to keep it for that, but see no use in running it into the ground when I could keep it for camping duty for a while longer.

Thoughts on the Audi? Or should I be looking at something else? I am leaning towards an AWD wagon of some kind.
