It is sexy, but I am not driving that car in the snow either. My wagon has to go pretty much everywhere except for realz off road, hence my need for all season rather than summer tires & rims.

Got a CEL on my allroad this morning so I drop it off at my Audi indy for a quick diagnostic check.

Bank 1 catalytic converter code. Pressure is good throughout the system and no drivability issues but gotta replace it. $950 OEM which doesn’t seem bad at all considering I know the dealer charges around $3k for the job.

Sucks as I have about 1,000 miles to drive this weekend. Fingers crossed she holds till Monday.

Maybe next time I see him I'll yell, "hey! what size are those wheels?"

I hate the electric blue on the RAV-4 and Tacoma’s, but damn the Polestar pulls it off. Kinda like the yellow 850-R’s

My wife got all hot from an ad about an XC90 yesterday, so I showed her used V60 Polestars. She doesn’t approve

The V90 & new V60 body style is so much nicer than the previous generation V60. Your wife is right

I like the style of the V60 better but the space of the V90 is nice. The XC90 is sharp.

Just saw a V90 and I liked it. Felt like the V60 + 10-15% all around. Getting close to crossover territory, but still way sexier than the xc90.
    focus.

    Wagon Stoke

Did the APR thing on the allroad. It’s definitely a better car now; seems like a no-brainer. Way punchier, especially when passing. Set an all time record for mileage on the way in to work this morning, too.
    focus.

Audi guys, have you heard of the All-roads having Angle Gear or Transfer Case issues related to the AWD shitting the bed? Volvo angle gears suck and Porsche had to do a 10 year warranty on the TC of the Cayenne due to so many issues.

2004 Allroad with 109K. Orig timing belt. $5800. Likely orig suspension. What's this going to cost in preventative maintenance and/or refreshing at this point?

You better get the turbos checked out since the engine needs to come out for replacement in those. I like the "lovingly serviced" without listing any actual service on the listing.

None. I'm on the Audiworld and Audizine forums a few times a week and can't recall seeing anything over there either. My B8.5 allroad quattro has been smooth but I would recommend changing the trans fluid with every major service milestone. Audi says its a lifetime fluid (ok) and the filter is not serviceable, but you can drain and refill which is wise.

Yeah, on a high mileage car I like to see stuff like this list (with detailed invoices):

Before you worry about budget, I’d spend all of my effort if you’re serious on that car on a thorough pre purchase inspection. Don’t go down the internet rabbit hole of FAQ’s until you have a list of real observations.

Yeah in my view that vehicle is an endless money pit. Whenever I see someone driving an Audi, particularly an older one, I think to myself- that person likes to spend lots of money on car repairs.

Not serious; just wanted to see what was the anecdotal Allroad knowledge base here.
