Got a CEL on my allroad this morning so I drop it off at my Audi indy for a quick diagnostic check.
Bank 1 catalytic converter code. Pressure is good throughout the system and no drivability issues but gotta replace it. $950 OEM which doesn’t seem bad at all considering I know the dealer charges around $3k for the job.
Sucks as I have about 1,000 miles to drive this weekend. Fingers crossed she holds till Monday.I still call it The Jake.

I hate the electric blue on the RAV-4 and Tacoma’s, but damn the Polestar pulls it off. Kinda like the yellow 850-R’s

I like the style of the V60 better but the space of the V90 is nice. The XC90 is sharp.

Just saw a V90 and I liked it. Felt like the V60 + 10-15% all around. Getting close to crossover territory, but still way sexier than the xc90.
focus.

Wagon Stoke
Did the APR thing on the allroad. It’s definitely a better car now; seems like a no-brainer. Way punchier, especially when passing. Set an all time record for mileage on the way in to work this morning, too.
focus.

Audi guys, have you heard of the All-roads having Angle Gear or Transfer Case issues related to the AWD shitting the bed? Volvo angle gears suck and Porsche had to do a 10 year warranty on the TC of the Cayenne due to so many issues.

2004 Allroad with 109K. Orig timing belt. $5800. Likely orig suspension. What's this going to cost in preventative maintenance and/or refreshing at this point?

None. I'm on the Audiworld and Audizine forums a few times a week and can't recall seeing anything over there either. My B8.5 allroad quattro has been smooth but I would recommend changing the trans fluid with every major service milestone. Audi says its a lifetime fluid (ok) and the filter is not serviceable, but you can drain and refill which is wise.
