    Wagon Stoke

Ok, so I'm a newly minted wagon lover (yeah I know, late for TGR standards, you EuroSpecAudiRS6AvantTurboDiesel6-speedwithabox humpers), well, technically, it's the wife's car... but anyway I found this article pretty timely. So, what's your wagon of choice?

If it matters anything, I really like the new XC70; tons more space then our X5 that we traded in, and better mileage, although I've only really driven it on long road trips so far to the beach and tore it up on some sandy back roads.
I still call it The Jake.

We've got an e90 sedan that I love so much. Love that look in the wagon. I don't think the F series is as good looking. Nice whip.

I had an 86 VW quantum synchro. That wagon rocked!

I have an '06 Mercedes E350 4matic Wagon. Basically the same car 4matic posted but with a 6 cylinder and in silver. Great car. Wish it was stick. Put some Nokian WRG2s on it a couple years ago and it's arguably the best car I've ever driven in the snow.

    Conestoga.

Anyhow I like how calling it a "wagon" rather than a "station wagon" makes it more hip.

Volvo V50 T5 AWD with the 6 speed.

Elevate tune with downpipe and exhaust. Rocked the socks off my buddies V70R.

'14 Ice Silver Metallic WRX 5-Door Limited - 5MT, leather, sunroof, HIDs

Drive it like a granny and stay outta boost or drive it like a pissed off teenager... Best of both worlds.

The day I put the new wheels on wifey's car

    Previous wagons:
'84 245 GL(mine). Had two 12" JBL subs in the back. It was rad.
'02 Jetta wagon(hers). It got written off, which is probably good, because with the amount of dog drool in the back, she wasn't going to be selling it.
'06 XC90 T6(hers). Traded it in on the Outback. Not technically a SW, but it was closer to a car than a truck.

08 Saab 9-5 wagon. Pretty zippy with a big turbo with 260 HP. I have to wrench here and there to not get eaten alive on maintenance costs but they had ironed out most quirks before they went under. You can get one pretty cheap.

Been looking for one ever since they added the wide fenders in 2011 and beefed up the motor. Every used on I found had been beat to shit and had COBB tuning and couldn't find a limited. Nearly ordered one in 2013 but held off. With some hand of luck, this one popped up on the market with 17,000 and was being sold below blue book with a clean title - dude had 30 years in with the air force - was selling to buy a camper for his new F350. Style me stoked!

Good question. Very few 08's out there and even fewer standard shift. Being I'm fatnslow, add lazy to the mix so I drive the AT. To be honest I don't really get to drive the car much, once the wife took it for a spin it became her DD.
I don't know why but there always seems to be a lot of Saab's for sale in Michigan for low prices.

I've had two 9-5 wagons over the years and a couple of OG 9-3 hatches. They absolutely SWALLOW gear. Some more reliable than others but none absolute money pits. Still have my DD '07 9-3 Aero vert.
