Bumping this because I've read a few articles about this new Buick:

The only drawbacks are the fact that it's a Buick and the price is a bit steep. It comes in at about $40k with options which puts it in CPO Allroad, 328i wagon territory.

Regardless, its ballsy of GM to jump into the wagon game.

Slap a Volvo emblem on the front and no one will know you’re driving a Buick

Slap an Opel emblem on the front and no one will know you’re driving a Buick

if you are patient, I think that opel wagon will depreciate quickly. i wish it had a touch more ground clearance

I checked out the Buick Tour X at last weekend's car show in Reno. It's big - nice size cargo area. The stupid plastic cladding doesn't look as bad in person as it does in photos. Interior is OK - comfortable enough, dashboard kinda basic, lots more cheap plastic than expected. Speedo etc gauges unusually small. Didn't drive one, but will sometime.

Same drive train on the base $30k MSRP version as on the top $42k version - 250hp turbo 4, 8A transmission. They all have AWD. Being GM, I expect this'll be available in a year with massive discounts and incentives. A mid tier trim at $35k MSRP, on sale at $28k, looks like a nice alternative to a Subaru.

Just bought a CTSV wagon with a six speed. Thing is a beast.

    Love that V60. I'm a Volvo guy.

Curious also about the interior volume. Came to the conclusion the present V60 is somewhat useless. V90 is awesome, but way above my price range, and with it being a Concierge/special-order-only model the used market won't be that deep.

There's some videos and pics from the release, and it's bigger than previous gen. for sure.

Me too. I need to see it in person. And like all Volvo's, do not buy the first years production, as it will have lots of kinks to work out.

1.5 diesel Ford Transit Connect, 30+ mpg and 2,000 lb payload.
And if you pop the rear seats out on one side or the other you can put at least three bikes in, four if you're creative. You still have room for four people and riding gear and if you put a box on the roof it becomes a full on family road trip machine.

What are they going for now, 50-55k? Last one I saw for sale was on BaT this fall.

I got it for 38 and sold it the next day for 46. I think I left some money on the table, but this one had a bad carfax and the hood needed to be resprayed.

Why can’t we get the RS6 in the states?!?!??!??

Perfect car on so many levels, then in typical Jon fashion, he makes it even better.
Five minutes into the drive and you're already driving me crazy...

New AMG E63 looks perfect for my 25 min drives to Kirkwood:

0-60 in 3 secs. 11.2 sec quarter mile. And I can sleep in it when dirtbagging Beaver Ck.
