Or get some black gloss wrap and wrap all the pillars- it's a nice flat surface that a novice could wrap.
Another good idea. I like to tinker, this is probably within my skills and Iíve always thought it would be interesting to try. Just last weekend had both vehicles in the tint shop. I watched the owner do the first vehicle, didnít look that bad, lots of soapy water it looked like.

Maybe Iíll replace all the pillar trim, then wrap it all. I could replace the wrap when necessary and then pull it when itís time to sell. Thanks mags.

Now letís move on to that crazy rough wheel well material, whomever specíd that stuff doesnít wash their own car. Just kidding, thereís really no hope for those fender flares.

Exactly. Google how to make a soap solution (you don't want too much soap) and have at it. Flat surfaces are easy, just make sure during the colder weather the film and whatever you're wrapping is warm.

Good tip. Thanks. I can warm the garage up with a space heater and keep the film inside before I start.

Back on the hunt after spending most of October and November dealing with family medical issues.

Found a 2017 E400 wagon with real leather, AMG package, ventilated front seats and only 53K miles. Was a California car for 2/3 of its previous life but is now only35 miles from me.

Going to test drive it tomorrow.

^ been using lastvin for months.

Most dealers say leather when the seats are really MB-Tex. This dealer said theyíre MB-Tex but lastvin (and 2 other VIN decoders) say theyíre leather. I donít think you can get ventilated seats in MB-Tex.

TR preview: going for a pre-Xmas visit to the Cuse then all the way back to central NH for actual Xmas. That car is going to eat up NYS Thruway miles.

It has the heads up display so itís P3.

The AMG shift knob would look a little goofy on the steering wheel stalk that controls the A/T.

P3 $11k option. Good find. How about Acoustic and Comfort Package. That has dual pane side windows like S-Class

    And also:

    Warmth & Comfort Package

    $600
Heated Door Panels & Center Console, Heated Steering Wheel, Steering Wheel Shift Paddles, Front Heated Armrest
