Sounds like being addicted to soda pop. Garbage but a few sips are tasty.

Yeah, kinda like that. But since they can't fill their own page with their own free stories for us to read they cross-post a bunch of other garbage from their fifteen other sister sites that help to further jam up the works, so it's like grabbing that sweet, sweet sip of Coca-Cola but having to filter out grains of sand that float into your mouth at the same time.

I'm in at Crack Pipe too, but man it's a sweet ride and that engine so so pretty to look at.
I'd also prefer the OEM wheels, but those aftermarket ones aren't bad.I still call it The Jake.

Agreed. It always does crack me up with the car sales for ze best German whips how they always show off the Bible-thick stack of maintenance records like it's a good thing. Hey sellers, uhhhh, I don't think that's normal for the rest of us to have THAT much work done on our cars, even when kept in top spec.

I had the same thought as I was penning the "for sale" ad for mine a few years ago (I didnt sell and *knocks on a General Sherman sized piece of wood* have had no real issues since but really dont drive it much). Started listing the countless things I had done to it as if that was some sort of selling point. Then again, anyone who is willing to buy a now 16 year old german automobile is usually delusional enough to think that it has finally been updated to the point of working order.

Has anyone bought a 2020 or 21 Outback yet? Curious about the complete overhaul. Especially interior comfort.

When we were wagon shopping recently, I didn't even bother to test the drive the new Outback because of the CVT. With autos shifting faster and becoming less boring, a V6 Outback with a DSG or quick shifting 8 speed would make it more enticing.
'Member when Subaru made fast, three pedal turbo Outbacks? I 'member.
