Stepson is between college apartments so we have the full wagon quiver here again. 725,000 miles between the 4 of them but the 4R 226k is unquestionably not a traditional wagon. I'd jump in any one of them and take a cross trip tmmrw if I could but the Suby w/255k AC hasnt worked since he smoked a stray dog with it. Foreground is the Prius V which despite it removing any wagon/car guy street cred I might otherwise have has cost .0008 cents per mile for unscheduled repairs since new currently at 197,500. One front wheel bearing had to be repaired recently.

Talk me out of this. I know they're an SUV, but I can't find a wagon to tow 5k+ pounds of trailer. The TDI has a 10 year warranty from the in service date on much of the engine and emission equipment. I have read getting warranty service from VW can be a battle, but the 2015 & 2016 seem to be pretty solid from reading the various forums. The 2015 was put in service march of 2015, where as the 2016 was put in service in 2018, so covered through 2028 or 120k miles. I have been looking for a year and I am tired of looking.

Wife has a 2015 Q5TDI. I bought that over the Allroad, for the engine.

Wagon Stoke
What’s the towing capacity of those TDIs? Am I correct in thinking that nothing touches the Audi/VW/Porsche diesels for mid-size towing capacity? Can’t shake the money I can get for the truck, but I need something to tow the camper.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Cars and bids seems to be getting the more interesting examples (read: 80s, 90s and 00s cars) and the less collector quality pieces which makes it fun to browse, but it's only a matter of time before it gets completely ruined like BaT.
I still call it The Jake.

I looked at the buyer history for the guy who paid $49k for a mint MR2. He has purchased dozens for cars and trucks in bidding wars. Establishing a "collection". Rich people are retarded.
cars and bids gets the ballers also but plenty of sub $10k cars get sold but they aren't low mileage cream puffs.

CaB is 60 percent pure garbage. I think they're capitalizing on the idiots who missed or were outbid on BaT. There's an idiot for every "Saab."

Ah, the venerable, but not often mentioned, Mexican-Swedish auto alliance.
