A mustang drivetrain in a 7series Volvo wagon!?! I need to hear about this.
In the nineties Ross Converse started doing these conversions on rwd Volvo's, 240's, 7series and 9series. He ended up doing cars for Paul Newman and David Letterman. A couple of gear head friends did a 240 and 740, after taking a spin I had to have one...

they haven't made that in a stick since '05 though. still fetch > $10k here with 100-150k on the clock. not worth it. I couldn't find one for under $15k when I was looking ~3 years ago.

Oooh this is one sexy wagon. 316hp and AWD from a turbo'd 6? Sounds as sweet as it looks. Can't wait to see the XC version.
More pics at the link inside this link but I don't speak Bork de Bork so I'm not sure what it all means.

Googledatamining must have their eye on me as this rad wagon showed up at the bottom of an article I was reading.
BMW 540i Dinan Touring. Supercharged. Pretty sweet.

You were prolly lent the V60, as the V50 hasn't been brought to the states since about 2011.
Well maybe I'm the faggot America

Saw this article on Jalopnik today with full press photos released for the V90. This thing is sexy and that interior may be the best I've seen in a car in a long time.

2012 A4 Avant S-Line.
My first wagon. Work steed parked behind it.
I want to make it faster somehow without voiding the warranty.

APR and GIAC (among others, but they are the big two in this country) can flash your ECU and give you the ability to flash it back to stock when you bring it to the dealer for service. Plus there's things like exhausts and intakes etc. that won't void your warranty, plus all sorts of suspension bits (coilovers, swaybars, end links, control arms, etc etc etc) that you can put on that won't affect your warranty. audizine.com is a good source of info, there's a lot of forums but audizine does a pretty good job of staying on topic without getting super super nerdy.

inherited one of these when i went to college
mine was black
power leather seats, windows, mirrors
not a cool car, but a cush ride for a college kid
my then gf joked that 4 of the 8cyl went to running the ac, but the ac did work great!
it would have made a shitty mountain vehicle

I had one just like this in college (1971 Pontiac Catalina Safari Wagon). Had a big block in it, it wasn't happy until it was going 80. :
I wrecked that thing on Long Island and took out the power, phone and cable tv for 100,000 people. And walked away from it.
