I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

That’s clean as a Safeway chicken.

Summer wheels. The 20’s with snows come out later.

I’m pissed I didn’t take pictures of the newer V90R I saw today with actual metal/enamel Prancing Moose shields. It actually looked like the factory put em on.

Ya like that? Haha. They're wagons and when I saw them I was stoked so I figured you all would be too.

Late to the party, nice thread. This is our '92 240, Major Tom.

It was my dad's, now technically belongs to my wife. She always complimented it while my siblings made fun of it, so the old man gave it to her for her birthday when he was ready to part with it a few years ago. Still only has about 150k on the clock.

He scored it out of a barn in Boise back in the 00s, put a lot of time and money into replacing every possible belt/hose/wear item, and then cheaped out on the paint job. Original color, just not well done, and put back together pretty sloppy. I wish he just left the original patina.

Don't let my wife see that, she'll be over making you an offer. Long succession of Volvo wagons in our household, currently an XC60, but she still reminisces about the 245 . . .

Funny how that goes. My wife had a 745 many moons ago that she loved. Upgraded her to an XC70 after that, and here we are a decade later with an old RWD red block parked in the driveway.

But this time it's a quiver car. Major Tom doesn't see the road in the winter, even though the LSDs combined with low power/high gearing in these make for a decent winter ride IMO.

This was from July 2016. Probably the cleanest old Volvo wagon I'd seen in many years. It only had 31k on it at the time

    "Appalachian American"

Guaranteed there's a sack of Oxy's stashed inside.

No way, if he was a true Appalachian, those Oxys would have been stepped on, divided and sold long, long ago.
