Nice did 0% 60months work out?

Torn between 2019 cpo for cheaper or just new for 0/72 and still decent price.

    Excellent!!!
    Pics will be required...

It strikes me that you got a better than average deal. I keep a finger on the TDI pulse and yours sounds strong.

I just did the 80k DSG trans fluid flush and put some new Dunlops on the '12 JSW. She rolls so smoothly. I could drive 40 miles with my knee, so steady.

Yeah I'm pretty psyched..been watching for a while, but the truck repair made me act and this one just seemed cherry..

Pics to follow tomorrow..I'm sure she will provide me with many miles of great driving.

As mentioned above, was no nonsense deal. Like 4 phone calls and 15 texts. Done. Maybe this is the way? Still feels weird not driving or seeing it, but I've had vw and Audi in past so I'm confident.

Might be pinging you for tips

    No sunroof.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

When I was 16 my parents bought a new '79 Toyota Wagon to replace the '74 that was totaled, I hated driving it (wagons were not cool to a 16yo back then) and always had and drove my own car. The first car I bought when I moved to WA was an '81 Toyota wagon (I already had the '81 pick up), it was a great car.

Maybe they have to be programmed to the car, like BMW batteries.

Oh I will be. As a side note, I know of at least one fwd jetta tdi wagon, that regularly goes up lcc during restrictions. Some great snows, a decent driver, and some 4motion badges off the interwebz and all gravy.

I put a deposit on it, refundable. Black, 21K miles. 1 owner, no accidents, cherry. 2year unlimited miles bumper to bumper, then some extended crap due to dieselgate. only has the 16" alloys though, but I wasnt spending another 3K for those. All in $13K.

Hope I can get her in the next few days.
Congrats on the new ride. There might be a little bonus you may not know yet. At least I found one concerning dieselgate & CPOs with Porsche.
Last summer bought a CPO TDI ‘15 Cayenne. A huge motivator was something I learned on rennlist. The diesel CPOs have an automatic additional 2 years bumper on top of the standard 2 years you’re expecting from CPO. There’s even a few wildcard 10 yr total warranty rides. I have one. Full bumper to bumper until 6/2025 then 2 more powertrain and 1 more additional corrosion.
The dealers are largely unaware. When I first started shopping I’d enquire about the specific VINs internal confirmation of warranty. Twice the salesman was unaware & blown away. It also resulted little to no negotiation. Found the best way to get the warranty details was straight through PorscheCNA. Since there were only 10 available in US flew 3k and drove back across country. The one I bought was cherry and originally from Bev Hills. Told the salesman about the warranty as I signed. He checked the system and had a huge laugh, called in the manger in etc. Neither knew. They were nice guys. Think they were just pumping 911s to the S FL crowd..
A huge correlation to the 10 yr wildcard cars (as far as I could tell) was the scheduled maintenance performed to a T. Also every 10 yr car showed CPO offering noted in carfax.
Spin the wheel - message VW. Good luck!

CL, does the car have to have a Porsche Dealer CPO to qualify for the 10 year warranty? I saw one that was certified for $68k

That’s my understanding. Porsche dealer. Had found a nice one at a Audi lot that had been certified by their partner P dealer and came back with the 2+2 but not the 10yr. Held out..
These diesel Cayenne’s with warranty are holding value well. This is where I’d search, currently 5 available. >$40ish

Just dropped by to say how much wagons rule. Storm that blew through here a couple nights ago wrecked what remained of the already shot trim on my house so I had to go stock up on materials today. Anyway, I came home with a 28' extension ladder on top of the old Volvo and a shit ton of 8' lumber laid flat inside with oodles of room to spare. Wagons FTMFW!!! To the guy parked next to me at Blowe's, try doing THAT in the puny 5' bed of your shiny jacked up brodozer that's barely seen a bag of mulch. HA!

$89k is fully loaded MSRP. A nice wagon with some options lists closer to $75k. Probably out the door for high $60ks depending on state. Depreciation on these is ugly no matter what, but even moreso when the reference point is MSRP with this many options.
