Not that I’m complaining about depreciation, but is that one really depreciated all that much out of the ordinary? It’s a base trim with the base engine.

One of my neighbors just bought a Regal wagon. Actually a nice looking car in person and with 250hp and awd, it keeps perking my interest

    Ooops.

Volvo is recalling every vehicle sold in the United States from the 2020 and 2019 model year. It turns out the automaker with the reputation for placing extra emphasis on safety has some bunk safety equipment. During tests late last year, the Federation of Danish Motorists noticed the automatic emergency braking (AEB) system in a Volvo XC60 consistently failed to operate as intended — smacking itself into numerous test dummies and automobiles.

P1800 or 1800ES. They lost the P when it changed from a coupe to a shooting brake.

I wonder if these severely discounted, fully loaded, Regal TourX are eligible for the basically free car program that GM is running right now? Could be a way to get a very well appointed new wagon for next to no risk and pennies on the dollar.

So this guy bought a used A4 Avant s-line which is the same body as the S4 Avant. And he transplanted everything from a 6-speed S4 into it. Motor, wiring, interior, everything. And he ended up with essentially a factory 6-speed S4 avant. It's pretty nice.

Tons of pics on the process here: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...d-Thread/page3

Tons and tons of work. Here's just the main part of the wiring:

Well if he's able to sell it for, say, one meeelion dollars, it will all have been worth it.

And he did it in what, 2 weeks? (imgur won't allow tgr because it's "commercial", but it's weird because if you directly load the image, then the link works)

I keep turning over the idea of a new 4.2 V8 in mine.

Yeah he did it fast. He tuned it into a quarantine project. Helps to have a lift and every tool known to man and know what you're doing I guess.

B- if you could get one of the supercharged 3.0 v6's in there that'd be the ticket. Really a superior engine.

Usually it's stubbornness more than knowing what we're doing, but yeah, some of both

I'm about stock though and don't want to deal with all the weirdnesses that will come out of trying that swap. I don't think that engine ever came in an avant with a stick in the US.

I've got 155k on mine, beaten it through multiple rages from here to Colorado via MT, NM. UT and NV, so I think it's time may be coming. It's really a sled that just fits.
