    Fun car 'want' thread

Perusing used car/ebay websites for no good reason and I come across this gem. I really like it. I don't even like red cars and I still want it. It's cherry right? It's a crazy good example right? It's a bad idea getting another BMW right? Not sure if the dog or the license plate are included in the price though.

    Hmmmm...

Realise these were not well liked over the other side of the atlantic but an absolute classic. My parents had one for 15 years so also some sentimental value.

Just realized that this 325 is an auto. Stick would make it way more fun as a beach car. But it's so pretty...

That automatically makes it a chick car. Stay away. It was an indulgence for the trophy wife a little while ago. Now she's driving a new Audi or Bimmer ragtop. Auto, again. If she's been nice.

    Fun car 'want' thread

2015 VW GTI. I'm obsessed, and if I find that I can manage losing the space in my Forester, it will be mine.

Also always pined for an S2000, but their resale value is stupid high.

If she was 30 when he bought her that car, she is buying her own with the settlement.

They're uncomfortable, slow, and just generally impractical to own but I've been itching to buy one for a bunch of years now.

Great car. I've driven two extensively. One of my favorite all time cars and a great cabriolet. Top down it feels just right. Very reliable cars.

My folks had one when I was in HS. Awesome little car, so fun to drive. Got it airborne twice. Lifted the inside rear wheel (aka, cocked a leg) hundreds of times.
