FAA regulation bro. All stems from that Richard Gere Mile High Club incident.

Didn’t take a pic, but at airport today I saw a shepherd with a super official service dog outfit (“do not pet, I’m working”). Dog was poorly trained, jumping up on people, sniffing everywhere by tugging at leash.

    Yeaaaaaah.

My wife sees any elderly couple at whole 'fubared by Amazon ' paycheck with two small dogs. The dogs have questionably fake service vests on. On of the dogs takes a shit on the floor. The man bend over and picks up the shit with a plastic bag. My wife suggests that maybe, just maybe, a store employee shiuld be asked for a mop. The elderly man agrees that alerting an employee sounds like a good idea. My wife lets customer service know.

    Then this happened:
    https://www.usatoday.com/story/trave...nes/362759002/

Emotional support dog bites child on Southwest flight

A child was bitten by an emotional support dog on a Southwest Airlines plane in Phoenix late Wednesday, adding to the debate about the risks of an increasing number of in-flight animals.

The teeth of the dog scraped the child's forehead as the passenger approached it after boarding a flight bound for Portland, Ore., according to Southwest.

The child, whom the airline says was 6 or 7 years old, was treated by paramedics for a minor injury, the airline says, and continued on the flight. Southwest did not disclose where the passenger lives.

The unidentified dog owner remained in Phoenix when the flight departed about 20 minutes late, the airline said.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Man, if that happened to my child, I'd be like:

And then I'd do this to the stoopid owner:

Vest should say "I refuse to pay to put my dog in a cage down in the cargo area or to leave it at home in kennel while I travel".

That would be grammatically incorrect for multiple reasons, unfortunately.
Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? PM me.

Ya, thanks. I edited it some using a real computer screen and keyboard. Still gonna take some pretty small font to put that text on a small vest.

I cannot fathom why no companies have the balls to ask the two legit questions- whether the animal is required due to a disability, and what task or work it is trained to perform. In my experience the vast majority would not be able to give an answer to the second, as 'emotional support' is clearly not supported by the ADA. For fucks sake!

Airlines are bound by more than ADA. That is why they have to take completely untrained Emotional Support Animals. They can require a current letter from a mental healthcare provider prescribing the ESA. Why they all don't demand such letters is beyond me.

Where does that requirement come from?

Yes. Those are the only two questions that may be asked. And aren't.

I tried to find this guy on Facebook who plays the yahoo Trump supporter in camo and wears a t shirt with an altered Pabst logo that says Emotional Support beer. Has a can cooler with the same logo. I find that so funny.
