PSA summer pow ski deals

My bro is coming west this winter to hook up with me for 8 days. Wanted to get him a pair of pow skis for the trip. Bought some Dynastar Big Dumps from Chewski for him, but then STP had a pow ski sell off. This is in the STP deals thread, but thought it deserved a thread of its own.

Went round the mulberry bush trying to pick out a pair of skis for him. Lots of excellent choices. Ended up with the Nordica Unleashed in 185.

Praxis is running their blowout sale with extra 15% for new customers or 10% with code tgr

on3p has summer sale prices, and most of the skis are going for low $400s

not as low as stp, but great prices on both given the quality you are getting!

Why don't they sell FKS or pivot?

Maybe we alerted them to their absurd deals. But I did see duplicate items in my search. One at $500 for example and one at $200. Same exact items

Really sad, I was going to pull the trigger on the hybrid 138's this Friday, just waiting for slush money. When I checked my cart this morning, they went up over double. I knew I should of just sacked up and pulled the trigger but the wifey gave me the "eye" when I was looking at them the other day. Feck!

That is the ski I would have gotten for myself if I had not bought a new pair of Spurs from Brianskis a couple weeks ago.

This x1000. Are the manufacturers trying to take the money and run because the know we aren't going to have winters in about 20 years? The destruction of willingness to pay is a sad, sad sight indeed.

Seriously though $94 can't be too much more than the raw material cost of the ski.
