Forums not loading

It's basically a lame ass way for tgr to rebrand our "content" as being theirs.

I would only make a clarification that, in the interest of not having mags worry about that exact thing, the Stash is a user-generated section where we do have some more ownership over it and can throw good stuff up on our homepage & social at will. That ball court is really catering to people who want that exact thing to happen. Whereas, with forum stuff, we'll never bring something out of the forums without explicit permission, and really try to treat the content that goes on in the forums as stuff the mags "owns." I hope the folks we've interacted with to share their stuff feel the same, and that efforts like the trip report prizes and AMAs show we're trying every once and again to make some cool opportunities happen for the mags.

If you're a forum guy, and that's where you want to be, that's cool, but there are plenty of people who would never venture in here who want a place to share their stuff, hence the Stash. I am hoping we can fix that login procedure so that you can just login from the tetongravity.com/forums and not have to go through the Stash to save your login across sessions once the build for the new store is done.

I'm posting this issue here because it doesn't seem to matter if anything on the site is related to anything else anymore.

I noticed that I was only seeing PM notifications if I was navigating away from a forum page, and just for a split second at that.

I clicked on my username at the too of the page (no notification of a waiting PM) and sure enough I had one.

Go to try and check PMs again this evening by clicking on my username and I notice that PMs aren't even in the drop down menu.

Also it asked me to log into the TGR webpage before allowing me to go to my profile.

If I see my name how in the hell am I not logged in?

Oh and please get rid of the useless floating black menu bar at the top.

When I zoom in on the iphone or iPad using safari and full site it takes up 3/4 of the page.

How is this helpful again?
