You have no idea how much not getting a pair is killing me, lol. That's almost a rock ski price for a carbon ski...

You could probably sell these in the fall and double your money.

If there were still some 202s left I'm not sure I could resist, despite having no need for any ski of that type haha. Good find

^ Check the page once in awhile over the next couple days, in case somebody cancels their order.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I think they figured out demand was high as the 138 Hybrids were bumped to $299. Ordered earlier today (thanks for the heads up). My buddy is a bit bummed but good god this is a steal. Always wanted a pair but could never cough up the $$$$.

Yeah - exactly my thoughts on the 202s. I'd probably only ever use them in AK and I plan on doing that at some point, but thats an expensive 'what if' ski purchase. But for sub-300, its an easier pill to swallow.

^ Even though it's pretty stiff, my 2007 192 length (pure, rocker-1, flex-2, 2,060g) doesn't ski long at all (I'm 165 lbs and usually on something around 180) with the tapered tips & tails. Would think the 202 is more than just an AK ski: the extra 10cm probably improves inbounds versatility since it's slightly less of a snowblade on groomers. Same goes for the Hybrid 192, the extra mass would be a good thing anytime you're not skinning.

Edit: Just a few runs on 138s a couple years ago completely changed my idea of what a pow & all-mtn ski should be. Before that, I thought fat & soft (for my weight) skis were the ticket, so I could flex them enough to make tight turns in trees. After the 138, I wanted stiff and rockered. No more bouncing unexpectly at speed in variable snow, much less unsteadiness fore/aft in pow, no more getting beat up in crud/pre-moguls and having to really keep the speed down. Solid.

The stiffness plows through all that shit, but the rocker still lets 'em turn effortlessly with a roll of the knees. You can get burly-as-hell and playful in the same ski. For next season, the quiver includes four pair of stiff continuous-rocker skis at 138/127/115/96mm waists (all with sidecut but the 138), can't wait to try the new "skinny" two. If you don't care how they run flat on groomers, it's easy enough to deal with being super loose there for the benefits everywhere else.

    ^^^ yep, i found my 202 138 (r2 f2) to ski quite a bit shorter when needed.

i've only had four days on them (~4' in 4 days @ Monarch (no AK there)).
super stable @ speed, but one can easily throw them sideways to scrub speed.
i found myself skiing through very tight gaps in trees after gaining a bit more confidence in their ability to shut it down.

Someone please tell me I didn't buy two pairs of really long DPS yesterday. Spent most of this (weird) season on 196's and really remembered why I liked long skis. Oh well. The slightly shorter pair (120's) and slightly heavier pair (hybrid 138's) will be for sale come next ski season. Hope there is one.
