My father in law actually used a similar contraption in Manitoba before the war. He was just a kid and he had to split a winters worth of heating wood with something like that. He did it in winter when the wood was frozen solid. Life as a wheat farmer sucked so he went to uni. got a PhD and moved to Texas and then California.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot
