Never shot a photo of the mount of my now departed Freerides: Ibex/Ambrosia Maple, black base.

Note that you'd need Look Pivots to not cover the head of the Ibex, if that matters to you (184cm - inserts for Wardens shown are mounted at -1 for BSL=302).

Kinda funny, I miss my Ibexes and spec'd the identical top for my Quixotes ;-)

There are enough photos of Stained Glass Trees (nylon top), so I didn't include my GPOs. I love that top.

Did anyone see yesterday's mailing from Praxis - how the "Max" graphic renders on a veneer topsheet? It translates very nicely is very tempting.

From the e-mail (Max on Veneer):

    From the website (stock photo):

I hadn't seen that graphic . Very nice either way but I'm picking veneer from here on out.Veneers are amazing.

Funny thing is, that I thought the graphic was new, because it renders so differently on veneer. When I viewed the standard rendering last year, I thought it to be just OK and quickly forgot about it.

I was really surprised at how much better it renders (to me) on veneer - which like you, is what I'm interested in.

Up until this point, I was limiting my topsheet graphic selections for veneer to line types like Ibex, Lion, Tsunami, Powder Eagle, etc.

Same. Tough to know how the busy topsheets will look stained on veneers. Seeing those "Max's" does expand the options . I'd like a plain veneer ski to. Crazy how many ski options with praxis now. Should be set growth in the next couple years

    .

Just noticed this thread so thought I'd throw this up. Have two other praxis setups but need to be in there natural habitat for pictures.

May seem like a weird choice, but I think I am going to try out something decidedly un-subtle like the Praxis Tattoo or Art Circus on my Veneer Q's... and beautiful pic btw.

My humble contribution - from the 2017 custom sale. Veneer does not show through quite as well on the "Stained Glass Trees" as I thought it might, but I still love them. Quality and finish is amazing. Now to mount and wait for snow!

No. Although that's what I'd be eyeing for a skinny GPO or RX.

It's really cool to see how different shapes lend themselves to different top sheets, one of the reasons this is such a cool thread. Those look f n dope!
