Fixing 916 Toe wing plastic?
My beloved 916s finally had the plastic that contacts the boot on the toe wings break. One chipped and the other just flat out disintegrated.
There was a thread on here a few years ago on how to fix/ repair them, but I can't find it anywhere. I seem to remember someone saying you could rebuild them with some type of slow set epoxy, but can't remember for sure. Maybe someone has the parts? Ideas, thoughts? Maybe I should just sell the heels for parts?
I know I should probably just chuck them for safety reasons, but I'd love to try and salvage them since they're just going to be used on early season rock skis.
