    Helmet/Goggles combo

What helmet/goggles combinations work really well?

I have a sweet protection rooster helmet that I have been using for a few years, and I like it a lot. This weekend I tried new googles, and found that to my disappointment that neither Oakley Flight Deck or Airbrake works with this helmet. The problem seems to be the curved shape on the upper part of the googles. With sweet rooster, this makes a huge gap.

What kind of helmet/goggles combo are you running that works really well?

my Smith Variant helmet fits great with my Smith Knowledge & Scott Heli goggles. Both are OTG
My Oakley which I believe are A frames fit great as well but the 2 above are better.

what that rule, never buy something unless you have the other piece of equipment to want to match it to....if that's not a rule it should be

I have a smith camber helmet and an older set of a frames
Googles fit "ok" but do leave a gap between the googles and brim of the helmet that brings the suck when it's cold

Smith Maze with I/o7 is a perfect fit. The maze fits well with I/o and I/ox too.

Sweet Trooper or Igniter should accomodate most goggles pretty well I think.

I have the sweet rocker full cut from a couple years ago that Ive been using with smith phenoms. Don't know about how the fit is with any of the newer goggle frames.

I have a POC Backcountry MIPS helmet and use both Oakley A Frame goggles and Oakley Crowbars. They work great, but I'd like to try the new Flight Decks...

Smith Vantage and I/OX fits awesome. Have been using various Smith helmets and goggles for year and they have always worked very well together. Venting on the new vantage seems to be the best I've yet experienced of Smith helmets fwiw...

I use a Smith Variant Brim helmet and various Smith and Scott and Spy goggles and I think they all work but since I never looked at myself in the mirror wearing them I could be wrong.

Smith Maze and I/OX do the trick for me. snug fit between top of goggle and brim of helmet. plus the IOX has great peripheral vision.

Ended up with a pair of Anon M2, they work really well with the Sweet Rooster helmet.

My POC Skull X works OK with Smith I/OX.

Works poorly with Giro's upper-end goggle (forget name).

I have a couple pairs of the Smith I/OX and have paired them with an old Smith Variant Brim, a Smith Holt in the spring, and now a Marker Ampire Otis. The fit works super well with all of these if you have a bit of a bigger dome piece. Honestly, the Smith optics integration is as good as it gets between their own branded helmets and goggles. Completely seamless

Just picked up a Protec classic helmet with Anon Relapse goggles. Perfect fit, decent price too.

Bern Watts/Smith Phenom work for me. BTW, anyone tried the Outdoor Tech wireless earphone inserts in their helmet? Like? Dislike?
