Stripers are very few and far between in NJ right now. Tons of bait in the water though, I was snagging them almost every cast. Snapper blues in the 1lb range were aplenty Saturday morning. Had a good sustained blitz going right off the jetty for over an hour. A fly rod would have been prime.
I love VT but heading back every year right as the surf fishing heats up sucks.

Finally uploaded some linkable pics...
Back in March, got around to building out a blank I've had for a couple years, 7'/4wt:
Letort brown on the feed, 'til i spooked him.
Letort competition.
Awfully colorful PA native.
Tied some flies for our TU Youth camp.
A buddy asked if I wanted to try smallie fishin' on the Potomac,
so I bought a new 7wt rig, met him early on a Saturday,
and my first smallie on the fly, not quite a 20"er....downhill from there.

I really wish I was, but sadly no I am not. Just down the road from the drug ranch though.
