I'm no photog. Can barely operate a damn phone camera but thought this one was cool. Took it yesterday out on the Snake in GTNP.

Smmokan - this is why I was suggesting pics up there. If you have a real camera and know how to use it...

Yep, we're coming up for sure next week... can't wait to get out. I'll shoot you another PM over the weekend to try to figure some things out.

My favorite float anywhere, if the fish are biting its just a bonus.

Mine too. 'Twas a good catching day to go along with the float. A tad on the wet side though. Come on up and we will give it a float.

Stripers are very few and far between in NJ right now. Tons of bait in the water though, I was snagging them almost every cast. Snapper blues in the 1lb range were aplenty Saturday morning. Had a good sustained blitz going right off the jetty for over an hour. A fly rod would have been prime.

I love VT but heading back every year right as the surf fishing heats up sucks.

    Finally uploaded some linkable pics...

Back in March, got around to building out a blank I've had for a couple years, 7'/4wt:

Letort brown on the feed, 'til i spooked him.

    Letort competition.

    Awfully colorful PA native.

Tied some flies for our TU Youth camp.

A buddy asked if I wanted to try smallie fishin' on the Potomac,
so I bought a new 7wt rig, met him early on a Saturday,
and my first smallie on the fly, not quite a 20"er....downhill from there.

I really wish I was, but sadly no I am not. Just down the road from the drug ranch though.
