Gyms like money and there is a lot of vanity at gyms.

My PT is a bit of a toy & gear freak and he loves to talk a mile a minute during the ACL checkups

I mention his wife must know him by now with all the rampant gear buying and he said

I just tell her its for safety cuz its all justifiable in the name of safety, even the 2000 $ electric derailleur

could be a hot tip ^^

I've definitely pulled that when I wanted to upgrade MTB brakes instead of just buying new pads and/or calipers. Helloo XTR

    Also
    1) No sense of directions and inability to read a map - check
    2) Can't remember left from right - check
    3) Soak dishes post oatmeal bowl or anything red-sauce, impossible - check

Couple others I haven't seen yet

    4) Type super A about so many things except if it's electronic and/or delicate. She had a run there of leaving phones on top of cars for a few months, 3 phones down. I cringe watching her pickup a laptop by the screen, especially years ago when all the weight was in the base/keyboard. Remotes JFC blood pressure rising just thinking about it, but never charging her phone when it's pretty clear there is important reasons to have it at the ready, that one nearly gives me a brain aneurysm
    5) Pens, any pen ever let her borrow came back with a broken clip, not that i use it for anything anyway

On the positive she's doing way more w/ kids virtual schooling than I have patience for

I just tell my wife new toys or new wife. Used to work. At this point she's fine either way.

Ahh this ought to be fun. She who pretty much runs the show broke her ankle last night and there may be ligament damage in addition to the break. Getting her in and out of the house is no fun at all and I'm figuring that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Weeeee...

    Re: Multiple Gym Wife

Lotta bitching for Mags that have three season passes to ski hills at $600+ apiece and then still pay $79 for the buddy pass at a fourth mountain when they get the pow and yours doesn’t.

Once my laptop was past 4 years I wanted it's demise to arrive post haste so I could be issued a new one. The screen is a perfectly fine place to pick up a depreciated asset.

Electric cart/quad: she's mobile and will probably mow down all those annoying dogs, cats and toddlers in the neighborhood.

^^ Since 12/18 when I had a heart attack we've had a cascading series of pain in the ass episodes. Now we get to slow down, again, and reassess.

For in the house and shopping and such yeah but it won't do much for the 13 steps to get down to the icy, narrow, on a mild hill driveway. It's gotta be easier than crutches though for most stuff.

I had 6 of them that i moved constantly which is why I think they never lasted the 3 yrs it took to write them off, i could order parts to fix them but it was easier to just call 1-800-new LT and they would ship me one in <24hrs
