How much is Ms. AK47 paying TurxSki and PB to provide expert witness testimony that supports her position?

Yeah - that heated dry cycle is kinda silly... esp here in the high desert. Haven't run that... pretty much ever.

Crack the door and everything is dry within a couple hours.

You maniacs air dry your dishes?

Hope you have JetDry in that dishwasher or those spots will ruin your life.

Perhaps we have magic water here? No JetDry. No spots... at least not that I've ever noticed.

I’ve got bad water and the humidity and dew point in the Cascade rainforest this time of year I can’t even hang my raincoat to dry in my garage.

I wonder how much time our wives spend discussing dishwashers. I'm guessing significantly less than us. Not judging, I'm as guilty as the next guy..

    This.
Ours is actually pretty similar, except I’ve got Formica, and an old dishwasher that I’d love to replace, but I just hate replacing stuff that works fine.
Of course, Mrs. Plug wants new countertops.

I’m a bit of a dishwasher nerd. My Dad was the Maytag man when I was a kid so I grew up working in an appliance store, deliveries, repairs the whole nine. I’ve been in some wicked shitty basements.

    Dishwashers matter

The goddamned disposer will easily take care of a cinder block studded with spoons. There's absolutely no logical reason for a strainer.

we have one of those in our dishwasher sink--it's to catch hardware, spoons and stuff like that.

Because my wife for some reason keeps a little shallow bowl with screws, paper clips, parts of stuff we don't recognize, rubber bands, you name it--on the window sill above the sink.

A shallow bowl?!? Lucky man. We have 2 drawers full of such indisposables.

I know, not a word, but it should be.

Well, we have a strainer and a disposal.

But we’re on septic. So I allow it.
