Jackson or Snowbird
My wife and I are planning a trip March 27-April 5 and are trying to decide which to go to. We've skied both and like both(no backcountry). The decision comes down to snow quality only. I've been to Snowbird in April before and know it's good but don't know much about Spring in Jackson. Any advice? That is beside the naked picture stuff.

Alta or the ghee
I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Jackson or Snowbird
I figure we'll do Targhee a couple days if we go but there's nothing else there and I don't want to do the drive every day. Alta is obviously in the equation at the Bird. They kind of balance that way.

JHMR is a little low/east facing for reliable snow in april. Altabird can be quite warm too but its definitely a safer bet for snow quality in the spring.

I would say that in Jackson THIS season the snowpack will be DEEP....however...that place faces WAY SOUTH...spring sun is HOT.....that place manks up FAST and 4000 vert of mashed potatoes off piste can be brutal. When Jacksons ON...ITS ON!!!! Ill bet next 3-4 days up there are going to be going OFF!!!
I still have hope for the season here in UT. Our snowpack surely isnt super duper low, we could use a few really deep systems to give us some more pow. That being said, Snowbird has a ton of high north facing terrain, good vertical, and good enough steeps to keep you happy.
I'd say BIRD...plus if you go to Snowbird you have a TON of close choices to ski if you wanna try something different. Jackson? Welll there is Snowking...

Jackson will be crusty unless you hit a storm system.
Fly to SLC and make a last minute decision about staying or driving north.

Thanks for the suggestions. SLC sounds like the safest move.
