    Where's the snow?

With the early spring that has ruined pretty much everywhere in BC and the PNW - if you could hit the road right now where would you go? Resort, touring, sledding...

I'm a PNWer in Japan this week. Plenty of snow here. Been sunny last two days, so no Japow, but still good skiing. Storm building for the rest of the week.

Where in Japan? I'm a PNWer in the PNW (though I've skied recently in Jackson, Salt Lake and around—but missing all the good storms) and am planning to ski Japan next January. Any beta would be much appreciated! Enjoy the trip!

The coverage in Jackson is quite good in my opinion.

Anybody been to Sun Peaks in southern BC lately? Thinking about a road trip if the coverage is good. Can't be any worse than around here.

Skip sun peaks and go to big white, silver star or red. Big white has the best base is the okanagan area right now

Thanks for that, I'll check out the drive times. I've heard Sun Peaks is the closest to Seattle and wanted to keep driving to a minimum. Went to Revelstoke for 3 days last winter and had a blast but the drive home on Sunday night/Monday morning was rough. Maybe I should just be patient and wait for the snow here in the soggy PNW.

Apex is right by the oroville border, it's got steep terrain but is usually only good with fresh snow

Why not just go to Whistler? The best base out of anywhere in this neck of the woods is still in the WB alpine. Was just at SP and it recently rained to the almost top, so snow conditions are meh...
