How batshit crazy is the president of ARG?

No polyass please, this is more of a what's going on down there thread.

We had a trip to BA and wine country planned for this year (and would love to get some skiing in too just to tick it off the list) but decided to table it for another trip - maybe next year when things seem a little more stable?

I've been loosely following president Christina Kirchner's reign because initially she seemed like an interesting person that was probably pretty attractive 30 years ago but now it seems that she is absolute bat shit crazy. Starting shit with the UK over the Falklands again, saying the US is trying to assassinate her, (after first saying it was Israel), basic groceries are now non-existent in the capitol and elsewhere, and now this prosecutor who was expected to testify this week that Kirchner's government covered up an Iranian bombing of a Jewish center that killed a bunch of people is now found dead, with a bullet to his head.

Bizarrely, she says the prosecutor was killed to implicate her. Wait, what? Going the offensive I guess?

So, how batshit is this lady? How is it for tourism there right now? Mind you the crowd I'm traveling with isn't the yurt-going type and would be really put off by political demonstrations all over the place and the accompanying issues that could bring.

I'm from Argentina. She's as crazy and dirty as it gets... but we're fucking used to her and dirty politicians in general! In fact, we're so used to this shit and these people that we do nothing as a society. We totally suck as a society... that's why we have the country we have... because we deserve it and just let it be!
