    Got my July 4th plans!

Yep no luck on CID. Can't imagine there were really that many rooms available compared to the demand. Odds were probably higher than mail order.

Had a lot of friends get tickets. Crashed on me, and then spun for 40 minutes.

VIP GA Pit 3 day bands for $29,000.00 on stubhub... lol.

    Trade offer:
If anyone has any extras (front of stage only), I have pre-paid hotel room(s) to trade. These were rooms that I used my Hilton points on for friends/family who did not end up getting tickets. Everything is paid for, and it includes breakfast(!).

So, I have one room for the three nights (so that's a total of 9 nights) at The Drake, Embassy Suites, and Doubletree, all located in downtown Chicago. These hotels are currently sold out or going for $500+ per night.

So let's make a trade! What you got?

    Got my July 4th plans!

I'll be at the Palmer House. Looks like David Grisman is playing a brunch show on Sunday at the hotel.

Damn. I knew we should have planned our family vacation to CA for June instead of July. Well it was planned long before the Chicago shows were announced. Damn. Damn. Damn.

tic-toc. The clock stops at 11:59 PM EDT tonight. I don't think I have the scratch to go to CA twice in one summer (. It is also too late for me to back out on Merriwhether. I am still debating whether or not to throw my name in for tickets on the off chance that I can actually make it. Anyone want to pay face value and all of the mandatory fees if I do get selected for tickets? Don't get me started on ticket fees. How is face value not face value??? And then there's the whole moral issue of trying for tickets when I know I probably won't use them.

Actually counting blessing I didn't score tickets to Chicago now that Santa Clara was announced. Taboot it's not my favorite town and I've been there the past two years to see phish.
