Got mine yesterday. Thanks Zero. Wow, whoever mentioned camber earlier, yeah holy camber😛

Haven't skied anything like these in awhile. Should be interesting and fun.

Huge props to Shirk, Zeroforhire, and NW_SKIER. NW handed them off to me today in Spokanistan, thanks mang!! Cannot wait to put some clamps on them and put them on snow, if we ever get any.

So I know there are a bunch if you out there thinking there is WAY to much camber, and these skis are beastly.

Please contact me to redirect them to a suitable home...

Heh, I ski mine on the line and to me that felt like a 'progressive forward mounting point' when I first skied them. Never have once thought the mount point felt off. To me , the skis are perfectly designed. Remember that all that tail behind you is actually on the snow not some bouncy rocker flopstick. I'm a big dude 6'2" 230. Ski fast and like to bend a ski.

Got out on these today at Eldora on a tracked out 15" day. Ho Lee Fuck this is the greatest ski deal I've ever gotten to date, thanks shirk and zero for the hookup!

Mounted mine at +1 and they were perfect. I agree with rip, on the line or a tinge forward is all. I'm 6', 185. This is a fucking great ski.

Super sick ski! Mounted at+1. 5'10"200, not fat. Crushes children and small adults that get in the way. Craves the fall line and speed, fits my style.

So all the reviews in this thread make it sound like a terrible ski.

I'm sure some of you are regretting your purchase and want your $75 back.

pm me so I can take this aweful ski off your hands.

Managed to score a pair of these from an awesome mag. The 191 with the Sun graphic. So stoked and many thanks to the mag involved.

So my go-to skis are the 193 4frnt EHP and the 186 4frnt Renegade. I love the relatively neutral and relatively more forward/newschool freeride mount on on the EHPs and the Renegades.

I'll go to the Goliaths for the harder snow days and will rail it like a SuperG/GS ski. I can do this on both my EHPs and my Renegades, but I think the Goliaths will be more fun and (with the camber) will give a lot more back when ripping high speed groomers and 5 day old chop at Kicking Horse, Revy, Fernie, etc.

    SO TL;DR

    Where do I mount these?

... given that I raced for a long time and can definitely handle a ski, but that my style has evolved to a more neutral stance with a lot more lateral movement because of the 4frnt mounting position.

    On the line? +1cm?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Oh yah. I'm 5"11 and 175 to 180 #. Former racer and coach. I now call the big chutes and slackcountry at Kicking Horse home. Ski aggressively ALL THE TIME, EVERY TIME

The Goliaths are getting some bad ass red, all metal 9-16's.

Mine are +1 and I love them there. Crush the fall line and anything that gets in the way. Stable, damp, fun.they float nice in pow and are able to get loose if needed or put down giant arcs.

Dont go over +1. Either there or on the line. I have mine at +1 and like them. Looking back I think I would have done on the line but I like them enough as is so its not worth it to me to put in another set of holes.

Best deal on a new ski that I've ever gotten. They're great.

Curious why you would go on the line looking back, since you like your current mount point?

I thought the same after mounting them. I didn't notice it after skiing them, I did end up detuning 3"of the tail though. I like how I can brake it free after the detune, it was a little tough to brake it free tuned to the end. I left the edges full sharp tip to tail and detuned as I rode them until I liked how they behaved.

my brother and I both have 2 pairs. It's the best all around ski I own, mounted straight up on the line=$. I also own 193 EHP mounted on the line(although I haven't been able to ski them for the last season and a 1/2)
Go to ski when I know things(snow) are gonna be weird. Very predictable. Toughest topsheet I've seen also.
