Random Question - Home Remodel - Scratch & Dent (good deal) appliances?
Remodeling my place and trying to shave a few bucks where appropriate. I'll be picking up most of my kitchen stuff through IKEA as I've found the look/pricing to be attractive.
However, I think I can save some money on appliances and other things like light fixtures and/or a new fireplace (need a new wood burning stove).
Anyone have any suggestions?

Can be good value, can be sketchy. Basically, anything that isn't NBIB is called "scratch and dent". This included cosmetic defects, warranty repair, floor models, discontinued models etc. Honestly, the big deals for appliances are usually delivery/install and service i.e. do they provide no cost warranty service. Glad you like Ikea. Don't expect the same quality as a semi-custom box.
