Do you mean that skiing has changed from being an idle pastime for the ultra wealthy, into an idle pastime for the ultra wealthy where they also want to see the young and impoverished repeatedly harm themselves for the amusement of others? Skiing is well on its way to becoming a blood sport, rich recreational skiers getting their jollies watching others risk life and limb isn't much different from the era of gladiators.

How long will it be before a ski movie features full length helmet cam footage of someone dying? I bet we'll see it in the next 5 years. You have to keep innovating.

Sign of the times that preteens know people sleeping in cars. Or maybe it's always been that way. Anyway it seems sad to me. Maybe not to you. IME it's the opposite. "Sir" is brobrah for "Fuck you old man." In fact I used it just that way myself yesterday on a guy 20 years younger than me.

How did you know I have two subarus? BTW I don't chase people off the drive--especially not the Argentine young ladies waiting for the ski area bus. I just chase people's parked cars off. Give me another ten years, though, and I might start chasing the bus people.
