    layering up ducktape is tedious so what i discovered was 2" PVC discharge hose from the farm supply store, its thin enough at .6mm to contour to the inside of the boot so you can tape it in with ductape, also cheap by the foot, easy to cut any shape with scissors and it does not break down or pack out
