Absolutely stellar flick. Props to Gaffney for upping the bar with that storyline, the skiing, the crisp camera work and awesome editing. The tribute to Bobby and flicks like The Performers was awesome and carried it all very well.

i thought it was alright. the only segment that got me fired up was cody et al. fooling around in the ski areas.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

I think this was the most disappointing movie ever. Except maybe Into the Mind which was just garbage (after the epicness of All I Can).
There were like 2 good segments. Total (out of like six or seven for the movie). It would have been a great 20 minute flick. It was like they took all the bad parts of TGR movies and made the entire film them. The ski area segment was great, as was the final segment with Cody... But for two years?! Seriously... And the music, just god awful. Sadly MSP hasn't put out a good flick for 3 years in a row now, since attack of la nina. The whole film was just so poorly executed, for instance "let go climb this huge sketchy peak (Sweet). So instead of showing more than 2 seconds of climbing and documenting what looked like an epic climb, they showed about 3 minutes of "skiing" shitty snow. Twas so disappointing. Sigh. I blame the shitty snow year in AK.
Watch it for free now so you don't have to buy it,Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care

And I believe that inbounds stuff was a tip of the hat to Barrymore.
Weren't you raving about Permin's skiing there in another thread?
This is a step forward in ski film making. Kinda reminds me of what Atrain was shooting for a couple years ago. And it's a great improvement over a lot of flicks before it. I personally like the whole feel of it and seeing it in it's imaginative narrative through Bobby's eyes (dude all but invented on-slope moves) and skiing maggot bros like Cody (he shoulda been a programmer for google with a name like that) is always a plus.

way better than the shit TGR put out this year.
TGR hasn't put out a rad movie since Prophecy
Harvest was pretty rad too with the Widespread Soundtrack

if anyone had problems with the livestream, someone found a solution for that.
It might be not legal bombproof (even forbidden, who knows), but you can get the movie floating. And you can download it with an easy rightclick. that definitely is not legal. but possible... its your own risk as well as drinking a can of Redbull. link inside here:

People are such spoiled haters at this point. I really enjoyed both DOMY and Almost Ablaze.

btw: terms and conditions of RB say something like it's allowed to download and save their movies for private use (see link above).

i liked cody's edit. Not sure what i said about permin's, but the skiing should be good. Meaning the editing and the vibe are the problem. or the movie is too long.
maybe the vibe or whatever isn't really mine. I really enjoyed higher this year. But its not the vibe of those movies per se as i loved deeper and thought further was pretty meh. So guess the problem is not that I'm jaded. It's that the movies don't get to me.
High life, global storming and immersion are still some of my favourites. And i don't like the so called stump classics. what does that make me in ski porn categories? a weirdo? so be it.
and the shots of DOMY were defintely not extraordinary. It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

It was the 2nd best movie of the year after Road To Zion.
Really enjoyed the Snowbird, Retallack, and CB seg with the special cameo by Sander... It captured the essence of shredding around the resort with your friends, something ski movies are lacking now a days.
I thought the whole theme with Bobbie Burns was cool as well
That line by Cody doe
Wish they had more park, but I get it wasn't that kind of movie
Peru segment was rad
Less MIchelle Parker please, Lets keep ski movie gender segregated (male #privilege)
Almost ablaze was just ski Porn, same shitty saftey 3s from Sage off cliffs, same questionable choice in music from TGR... SMDH
The idea TGR stands for is cool, but as I said, they haven't made a good movie since The Prophecy

Fun flick, I dug it. The shred with friends vibe vs pure powder pornography was rad. The plot 'existed' but wasn't overkill in anyway which was nice.
