I realized it and it took me almost an hour to delete all of my stored trips and then I deleted the app from my phone because even if you disable that feature it will reset every time the phone restarts. I'd rather not have everyone knowing where my house is.
No I didn't know that. What do you mean, "publishing"?

It seems like it's about equivalent to showing people you're good at plumbing by making all your pipes leak.

GasBuddy has a simple slide button to turn off the trips function. But Google or your mapping app probably is doing the tracking also regularly, so it is just a matter of what does Gasbuddy use their data for.

I was shocked to see that gas is under $1/gallon in places. Still north of $2/gallon everywhere other than Sam's/Costco here in SLC. Hopefully it lasts till we can road trip again.

It hasn't changed much here so it's still $2.50- 2.70, for regular and 3-3.40 for premium.

$1.99 in this valley. Absolutely unheard of in nearly 20 years.

So the oil industry, which could single handedly feed all of the worlds poor, build hospitals around the globe, double the salary of school teachers, and still pay the owner’s million dollar salaries, is crying in their margaritas. Got it.

Paid $2.99 for diesel in Central OR last week. Saw it dropped $0.10 this week. Still a ways to go to get under 2 buck chuck. I have a feeling I will not be buying petrol for another month

NJ is now the only remaining state that does not allow you to pump your own gas.

Wrong, Oregon still has gas station attendants pump the fuel.

Folks from New Jersey don’t recognize Oregon as a state.

You could pump your own in parts of the state before Covid.
