Super pumped for the battle of the Xavier Coaching Factory tonight. Sure it's a big uphill battle, and X is getting 10 points from Vegas, but hey... Its March Madness man.

Here's a nice little tidbit. Excellent company you're keeping, X.

It's so hard to say. The way we're playing this year is so different from previous years, and so unusual. It looks like we don't know what we're doing a lot of the time. And, I was certain that the press would kill our guys before the second half, but that bench just keeps rotating, and they keep playing hard. The game against Maryland wasn't pretty, but we handled them and took a solid win.

I'm sicker than I've been in years. I think my kids different colds combined into a super bug. So, not only will I not be drinking tonight (much), I'm not even sure I can rally to watch the whole thing.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Long time no talk D! I hear ya, this team is like nothing I have seen before.......always surprising us. We gotta keep forcing turnovers if we even want to stay in this game.
Drink up, no West By God Virginian stays sober for a Blue and Gold game!
Then fall on your face and sleep off the superbug.

    Good luck...

The only teams to have more Sweet 16 appearances than the Zags since 1999 are as follows...

Duke, Michigan State, Kentucky, Connecticut, Syracuse, UCLA, North Carolina, Arizona, Kansas, Louisville.

Where is Xavier? I wish Gonzaga was playing Xavier.

But X would obviously win, because GU is soo overrated.

    Go Zags!

(Total tangent here, but now that we're in the 2000's doesn't 1999 seem like funny number? I actually did a double take right after I wrote it.)

    Flame on...

I would be stoked to see the zags pull through. I hate on them hard just cause my family has had season tickets so long that I've watched them gargle a dick enough for a lifetime. im hopelessly optimistic right now.

That's true in a lot of ways.

And of course I'll rally. I'm not gonna be responsible for them losing. My post was a last ditch effort at convincing myself that I was going to be responsible. As it happens, the only hooch left in my house is bourbon, which we all know is pretty much medicine.

ND looked sharp against Wichita State. Maybe they can make it a game against Kentucky. I think Kentucky might be the team to beat!

Alright, 5 minutes to tip-off. If the Zags can keep this going by making it deep into the tourney and finally "prove themselves" to the doubters I see the regulars like Wiltjer, Pangos, and Karnowski playing average (Which is pretty damn good). I think the real wild cards will be Sabonis, Wesley, and McClellan. If they get hot, they can beat anybody, even Kentucky. We shall see!

    Go Zags!!

After watching X control the first 38 minutes of the game against AZ last night, I'm not even sure the Wildcats could beat UK (which up until yesterday I was thinking so).

Wisconsin? Duke? The Apocalypse? UK has this wrapped up I think.
