    Canon Drops New 100-400

not really dropped, but they're going to start selling it. I haven't spent much time around the camera the past couple of years but I would think this would be a pretty sweet ski lens if you had 2 bills to spend.

The old 1-400 was amazing, as long as you got a good copy.

I'm more hoping the 11-24 f/4 comes out soon and isn't $3 large like everyone is estimating to be.

Been very happy with mine, have to decide if it's worth the upgrade.

Three and a half pounds? That thing is a monster to carry around.

With the 70-300mm L coming out earlier this year (or was it last year?), I'd think that would be a little more conducive to taking out skiing... but then again, I'm a jong when it comes to long-range zoom lenses.

i was bummed to see it go up in weight but the image stabilization is improved so maybe it will be worth it.
