Caylors drilled 3x. People say the sweetest spot on this ski is anywhere within the range -1cm to -3cm from center. Sounds correct to me.
Open holes for:
- Sally 916 for 311mm BSL at -1cm from center. (I loved them there, but I would surely also love -3cm)
Plugged holes for:
- Jesters for 320mm BSL at -1cm from center.
- FKS/P18 for 303mm BSL at -6cm from center. (Previous owner said -6cm was "awesome", but preferred -2cm that he tried on a different pair of Caylors, and then predicted his very favorite would be -3cm.)
If you can't re-use holes, these Caylors will take a 4th new mount no prob (strong 122mm wall-to-wall bamboo core), and will fit new holes for all toes & heels of Sally, Marker, or FKS/P18 (EXCEPT very limited options for P18 heel).
* To anyone interested, just tell me your BSL and which binding models you're willing to use (Sally, Marker, FKS/P18), and then I'll tell you all your mount position options.

For Salomon 328mm bsl, these Caylors can fit:
OPTION 1:
-0.2cm from center. (that's rather forward, but great as long as you like centered newskool-style)
Reuses all heel holes, drills all new toe holes.
OPTION 2:
-6.4cm from center. (almost as far back as traditional)
Reuses 2 of 4 toe holes, drills all new heel holes.
OPTION 3)
-8.4cm from center. (I don't recommend it this far back, otherwise you're forcing a traditional feel onto a newskool ski)
Drills all new holes for toes & heels,
I recommend OPTION 1 for anyone who will use Sally bindings for 328mm bsl.Last edited by Vitamin I; 10-26-2014 at 09:19 PM.
