    FS: 13/14 189 DPS Pure3 Lotus 120 SE

A painful day in my life - my sweet, sweet, Lotus 120s must be sold. How can life be so cruel? The affair has been wild and torrid, but it must finally come to an end - the gf is adamant that I put my cheating ways behind me and that there are, in fact, more important things in life than skiing. I cradled these babies to sleep upon their entering the world as pink beauties, rocking them in deep white pillows and cuddling with them when we were cold togetherj. The sweet spooning action has been bliss in my life, making me feel like a young man again who can do things he otherwise couldn't do. During the wild days of their youth these were mounted twice, with BF inserts (will provide the screws upon request), for Dynafit Radical FTs at +1 and -1 for a 304bsl - this should allow most any bsl to mount her, now that they're broken in and willing to accept anyone who will use them. Mounted as per the Jondrums paper template spacing, so the 'stiffener' plate doesn't fit. The first mount is not as good as the second, though both work, the 2nd was done with a jigarex and is consequently more perfect. See this post (http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php/270843-Inserts-off-by-lt-1mm?highlight= where I discussed it. if you feel like doing some reading. First mount (@ -1) is the only one I have used, and therefore works absolutely fine, but I wanted to be able to share the skis with friends and everyone says +1 is the sweet spot and I'd agree based upon geometry.

Skis are in mint condition - no base, edge or sidewall damage. There is one spot by the DPS symbol on the front that looks like the black base was trimmed imperfectly - tried to capture it in one of the photos. The cut is right to fir the 's' but it looks beveled or something - I've never noticed it, it's only on one ski, and it won't affect performance, I would assume. Never been ground, only waxed. Minor top sheet scratching, absolutely no chipping (they seem to have really improved the durability of the top sheet).

$500 flat +shipping+pp. Pretty firm on this price - this is like selling my favorite child (yes, when I have children, there will be a favorite). I prefer a Canadian buyer but will do the American thing if necessary.

She's awesome - it was just part of the spiel. She shreds harder than I do, though that isn't saying much I suppose.

Thank god, those were far to luxurious for my dirt bag touring budget, but I am local to you and was seriously tempted. But if you are selling these beauties and those carbon GPOs (which i have also been thinking about) what i want to know is What skis are you keeping?
