    Seattle area woodworking mags

Hey, have I got a deal for you. Here at work we're digging a sizeable hole, and we've pulled out some red fir (I believe) logs/tree trunks/root clusters from about 20' underground on what once was the shoreline. Sizes range from 1' diameter to 3', and up to 20' in length. Some good wood and stumps, some rot on the edges and surface but not much. Probably make a nice project.

We can load your flatbed for some BBQ money. Once I get the pics off my phone, I'll post them if there's interest. Located in W. Seattle.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Not that I'm in Seattle, or have a use for the wood...but red fir doesn't grow that far north. Probably cedar.

A lot of people up here call Douglas fir by the name red fir cause of the color of the heartwood. What species are you talking about when you refer to red fir?

Not tryin to be a know it all douche, genuinely curious. I'm a tree nerd.

Oddly, I'm hauling a small load of small logs to a custom mill in Taroma tomorrow. I'll ask around.
