Bachelor got 6 last night of the scank. It was a clusterfuk from the get go. Cars driving 20mph up the hill,I'm all for driving at a safe/sane speed but that's ridiculous. Spoork must of been at Bachelor. Rainbow crashed by 1030 and Sky was sputtering all morning. Then the "Crack of Nooners" rolled in. I'm gone.............

If by heavy pow you mean non-fluffy slabby wind-affected grumplestiltskin flakes, then I concur.
Let me lock in the system at Warp 2
Push it on into systematic overdrive

When it was reduced to hardpack, we turned a stump into a kicker

From which I double ejected twice...! 😜

    Ha!
    After, both times

Our kicker geometry needs some work (as do my cat-like reflexes)

I should have the wife model it. Next outing I shall wear it with honor of our northern mags. And thank you bobby. I will repay your generous jester @ our next party.

considering the season, and the fact I dropped my kids in all day ski school, today was all time.

I did my first cone and nearly fell asleep on the rainbow chair. Splendid.

In real low tide years there seems to be a bump in March/April (looking at past years data), this might have been it though. I was going to head up, then saw the post about stay on the groomers and the bowls off mhx might not be skiable. At this point all I want is to ski the sw chutes a couple times and ski off the the top of hood and be done with it.

Not a bad plan to stick to the backyard goods in the sw chutes. the bowls were definitely skiable today however. Too bad it's getting warm soon.

The wind died down and Outback opened after lunch ...all the lift lines were short in the afternoon.

I know people came for the snow on Tuesday but actually Monday was the day to be at Bachelor ... hardly any lines and snow was light and 3 incher skied more like 6 inches and enough to cover up most of the icy spots. I am a happy camper for now.

uesday was a bit heavy but Monday was the day ...3 incher skied more like 6"

Tuesday @ Meadows: Stuck mostly to Shooting Star. Cascade never opened. From MHX, the bowls looked like the bowls off of SS. Morning was good, not very good, and definitely not great. Visual assessment of coverage was lying to you, sharks were out. on South facing slopes. Moderate winds and snow coming in in the morning. Not enough of either to really cover tracks. Warmed up after lunch and snow got heavier, choppier.

My personal fav was the recent snow supported by clumps of grass, that when skied over would completely wipe the snow away. Not bitter, had a good day.

Holy fuck, tuffy sighting in Oregon. Get a camper an or RV and explore the backroads.

Stay out of L.A. Pine, Prineville and Madras and you'll be fine.
