Free the Powder Gloves?
Hello all, I met a big talker at a party this weekend here in Park City, who went on and on about his new ski glove company. Sounded pretty interesting. But I cannot find anything about these people online, other than their own website. Anyone know about these guys?

haha That's one of my "ridge rat" ski partners at the Can and for full disclosure I'm a "team Member". He prides himself on being a bit of an oddball, but is a stand up guy and pretty damn funny as well....
The catalyst for him starting the company was his annoyance of overpaying for ski gloves. He wanted to offer a glove that could match the quality and comfort of other premium gloves without having to fork over $100+.
This is the first season of production. Last season he gave a bunch of pre-production gloves to patrollers and everyday skiers to put through the ringer and they held up very well. The gloves have Good supple leather, are very warm and comfortable, and they stayed dry and breath well. As of now there are only two styles, gauntlet, and non-gauntlet. I prefer NG but the gauntlet is stout and wont bunch up.
I'll talk to him about possibly offering a TGR code if a few of you are interested.

That's the noble and deadly Stoat. (AKA Ermine) cute yet ferocious killer of animals twice its size. definitely not a "hardcore" label as some may prefer, but I think he's partial to it.
However, as mentioned by BobS He loves talking gloves, and appreciates any feedback and suggestions the collective may offer

Isn't this how PMGear started back in the day? Gloves, bags, poles, etc?

Looks like a good glove for the price, it would be nice if they had removable liners

I think you're right. I'd jump right aboard. Nice looking glove, can it handle the PNW...that's a good question! So is he essentially putting a glove out that's comparable to Hestra? I've never been able to afford those.
