    Calling all Lady Skiers!

Hey! I'm doing some research about height and ski lengths, specific to females.

If you could post up how tall you are, what skis you ride/own and their lengths, like below.

    5'6"
    Park/Everything - Faction Ambit - 164
    Park - Armada ARW - 164
    All Mountain - Salomon Mynx - 166

Thanks in advance for the help!

I'll help you out on behalf of my wife, who will not be visiting this forum any time soon. She is an intermediate skier who likes blue runs and single blacks, and somehow ends up on a few double blacks due to her inconsiderate (yet very patient and supportive) husband.

    5'4"
All Mountain - Volkl Aura 156

Cool- what is the research for? industry or school? just curious
    5'6" 145lbs
    4frnt EHP 179
4frnt EHP 179 (yes I love this ski)
Line Sir Francis Bacon 182 (I think the current models are 184's but mine is from a couple yrs ago)
I use these for my everyday skis so I guess they would be considered all mountain

I was wondering that too- seems fairly integral to the length decision.

Yeah, weight matters. I am, as they say, short for my weight.

I read TGR occasionally, but don't post because yeah, it can be off-putting. Maggots make fun of Epicski and SkiDiva, and that's fine I guess, but omg - I can actually have a conversation at either of those places, I can get advice, and I can read them at work without images of bouncing boobs on the screen. And sadly, I am not a pro skier, as I gather everyone who posts here is required to be (tongue firmly in cheek).

I actually registered elitistbitches.com/org/net to get something off the ground that is spicier than SkiDivas but not quite so uncomfortable for (a lot of) women and gay people - but then I got lazy.

There was a time in my life when I was anxious to be seen as "one of the guys" and was willing to suck up all the bullshit lockerroom vibe that came with it. I got tired of it. I dip into TGR when I need an extra ski fix (right now), but for the most part, the valuable info and sick TRs aren't worth the bullshit.
